haha sheesh i almost rolled on the floor of cine!
anyway some business cropped up between my parents and their tenants that we almost filed a police report. no time to explain..
had dinner at adams hawker. e nasi lemak and prawn mee were good! juices after that with weiren and my parents at mad jack! haha..

hellooo! yepp sorry abt the picture hee. well i was in a service after all and couldnt switch on the flash! and i had to catch the lil girl when she just happened to look up haha..
guess what? zhisheng and darren cycled to my place! haha they're like crazy. hello i belindateo stay in east coast road, houzhisheng stays in lakeside while darrenkoh stays in university road! haha ya they stayed here for about an hour and i introduced my new epilator to darrenkoh who seemed really interested haha! yep i bought the philips satin ice thing.. its really good but really painful too haha.
jas and doreen came to stay over last night and we had a nice time by the east coast beach.. yep we were just sitting there chatting. it was really good cos the sky was threatening a rain but it never did rain so it was just really windy and cool.. i was praying it wouldnt rain. :) but like there were quite a few rats running around.. so like whenever one was nearing jas would shine her torch at it and it'd scamper away haha. watched the flightplan dvd after which sucked so bad.. the dvd was extremely high quality for a pirated but the show really sucked la. i fell asleep at some parts when it was supposed to be a thriller!!! the 3 of us slept on my bed, yes it was squeezy okay even though my beds big! haha it was soo funny la, i've no idea why but i stretched my arm across and started hugging doreen in the middle of the night, until she shoved me away HAHA.. i'll never forget how i found myself sleeping on my mums chest in hongkong! hahaha.
anyway im gonna start working at singapore exhibitions services next week! its gonna be a tough job la, im gonna hafta wake up early and start working hard.. sigh. :( the lady called me at 12pm and found me sleeping.. the last time she called me at 11.30am i was sleeping too. so she asked me"you do know what time we start work right? are you sure you can wake up in time for work?" haha i was so embarrassed la.. i tried explaining to her that i used to wake up at 6am on school days, i wonder if that worked.
3 of us went shopping today, at bugis and town.. doreen wanted to get her cheongsam top and wetsuit in preparation for her swimming lessons. its so unfair.. she earns more teaching swimming than me teaching piano la!
chapel practice after that at yangshens place. yep im playing for chapel at barker! haha.. hope everything goes fine, i havent played in really long! i heard that the whole school gets to watch i not stupid 2 together at lido this friday!
and i helped make dumplings with my mum today! haha. she said i've improved alot frm young.. we do this every chinese new year and like i used to roll the dough so flat that like the filling would break thru hee. and im halfway thru packing my room.. :) like wow cos you've no idea how bad a state my rooms in. ohya girls who are reading this! please bring over nice dvds next tue for those who are not mahjong-ing okayy? :):)

this morning a few of e classmates went to zhishengs church to witness his baptism. when lennard and i saw a girl who really reminded us of shumin! hee..

im at moses' place waiting for him to get a nap before he sends me home. just had supper w weiren at al-azhars.. like seriously, i've no idea whats so good abt tt place tt its so crowded even at like one am. e foods not tt great, e places hot/stuffy/smoky n blah..
thu- went for my interview! yep got my job as a music teacher. heehee.. :) but its only a weekend job. went down today, was supposedta just observe, but i ended up becoming an unpaid assistant teacher.. but it was soo fun! haha i was helping out w e group classes for beginners first, so like all e kids were like 5years old?? goodness e boys are soo naughty during class! like there was this boy lying flat down on e piano chair n i hadta drag him up! then like this other boy called darryl kept banging e piano, then when i was teaching e other boy he'd turn around n bang e other boy, aldens piano! but alden was soo kewt la! haha bev was doing admin there so i had someone to talk to during my freetime hee. yep so anyway e boy called alden, like during class he kept complaining he wanted to go home, then finally when class ended he rushed out.. n after like 2mins i saw him walking back w a sad face n telling me tt his mummy wasnt here yet. so i brought him to go get more stickers n all cos he looked so sad.. for a moment he seemed to have forgotten abt his mummy, then after awhile he remembered again, andden he hugged my thigh n cried! haha omg i was like!! okay i'll go get you kitkat! haha. then he was alright after awhile.. seriously so adorable. e girls were like adorable, pretty, wellgroomed, obedient but abit boring.. haha i guess small boys are kewter but much naughtier!!
thu night- justyn treated us to memoirs of e geisha! its an excellent show please go watch it! n please watch it in a theatre, its too good a show to be caught on tv. thankew justyn! :) haha n jassie too! :)
fri- went shopping w e girls! [i've been like hanging out w e girls everyday la. muah! <3] i havent been eating much since i got back to s'pore but yesterday i ate kwite alot.. had our fareast smoothie! but they din have mangolingo so i had e peach one instead. then had sushi tei w saralow after! muahmuah! thankew for e gummy machine! :) went shopping at fareast! yesterday was like a fareastern day haha. sara showed me all her fave shops, but like nothing in s'pore seems to impress me much.. e nice stuff are expensive, and the other stuff are just well, un-nice haha. but theres one shop which i really liked, e vintage shop! things there are a lil over-priced but i would think its worth it for a vintage apparel which no one else would have.. speaking of vintage always reminds me of unice! i remember e ulu place we hadta go to to visit a vintage sale haha. i miss you la chanunice! visited madjacks for e first time last night! haha.. n i met zhisheng n nadim there, good timing huh.
some reflections abt today.. crosslink elections. during prayer i was really gonna cry.. im gonna miss all the comm meetings, parties at ps' place, conferences, encounters, [its so different being a participant and actually be part of the executing committee!] taking minutes, crosslink summit [absolutely memorable], n soo much more! :( and also during prayer, so many thoughts kept flashing back.. everything i've done for crosslink, encounters, and everything else which made me so tired sometimes that i actually din wanna take up the responsibilities. but now i regret none of it.. what would life have been if i were just a plain old student doing nothing day in day out but worry and study like a mad dog for the a's?! sheesh. and suddenly, the meaning of all that 2years worth of work hit me.. ohmyy! i was so privileged all this while! i've actually had the chance to actively serve God in these 2years, a chance which almost all of my peers dun get! some people search so hard, and they feel sad that chances are not offered to them. while others, they get the chance but they rather escape from it, now isnt that foolish? whichever the case, God has a plan which far exceeds any of our thoughts/worries..
anyway i just wanna encourage the new crosslink comm to really press on no matter how difficult things may get. there will be times when you look around and see all your peers using their free time catching up on work, going out partying while you're stuck in church in some comm meeting or serving.. but be assured that what you're doing is worth so much more than tt bit of work/fun which they get and you dont!
fusion after that. i thought praise/worship was excellent.. it was technically flawless! like there was nothing impressive individually, but the band came together so well, and like all my fave female vocals were there! sharon, annabelle, sarahchan! haha. my spirit was soo uplifted during praise.. i havent felt so happy n free in so long. it kinda reminded me of encounter 1.. but theres something i really must say. about the trac pastors.. okay so ya WE'RE METHODIST WOW! EVERYONE STEP ASIDE WE'RE E METHODISTS! okay i hope you get the idea. it was so bad for those who werent frm methodist churches/schs.. they made e divide so clear, n i found tt extremely ptless. yes i noe its a methodist event, so okay lets pray for e methodist organizations, tts all tt would've been necessary..
i hope that wasnt offensive or anything. and dont get me mistaken, i've been a methodist all my life LITERALLY in every aspect, from education to church so ya, what i said was really very objective.. n for those who went for fusion, i found the comment abt sengkang methodist pretty rude and unpleasant.
all in all, it was good! i was reminded again of the eternity aspect all of us should be bearing.. one day we will see the Lamb of God throned above all else, the angels singing "holy holy holy is the Lord God Almighty" and the people of God will all be shouting a resounding Amen! :)

mahjong today! haha. it was soo fun to be around e girls playing mahjong over at my place.. woohoo. reminds me of e post o's days! :):) before tt doreen came over to my place after her swimming teacher interview thing n we went to parkway parade to get my dvd playa.. n we got caught in e rain! haha it was soo dreadful/funny at e same time. watched chronicles of narnia but it was soo horrid cos i could hardly conc! e girls kept coming n doreen kept smsing so i din enjoy it tt much.. maybe i should catch it proper at e theatre or get my cg to come over n watch it w me! haha.
anyway then sent james away.. :( poor boys! cheer up guys! he'll be back soon! yep i've learnt tt after sending soo many people away. of course you cant help but miss tt person, but he/she wont be gone for long! :)

yesterday was my first day back in s'pore! had lunch w e girls ie. doreen, bev, steph, jenn, jas, inez, christina at sakae. we talked n talked n talked like there was no tmw.. then christina n i went to some recruit agency haha. we're desperate for a job! haha actually i've got kwite a few offers but im being veh picky! everyone else seems to have such official jobs! haha.. okay so anyway met up w james after! im gonna miss e lil boy when he goes away! i had milkshake at mos n i was having soo much difficulty sucking e stupid milkshake! until i found out there was smthg wrong w e straw haha.
dinner at settlers! haha my first time there.. it wasnt fantastic, but we had kwite abit of fun playing e apples for apples game n taboo haha. it'd be fun for a one-time experience thought its not veh worth it.. its kwite x actually. anyway i posted some pics frm my trip..

hello. :) i actually typed a really long entry last night but it got lost n now im too tired n lazy to type another.. i've been walking too much, my poor feet! n i've been uncovering even more of hongkongs beauty in these 2days. took kwite alotta pics of e christmas lightings etcetc.. they're gorgeous! n im beginning to think my hairs kwite nice! i've learnt to manage it well at least. hee.. had peking lunch n turkish dinner. i overate for lunch n i felt soo sick after tt.. my grandaunt gave me some ointment which i rubbed n my tummy cos i felt pukish. tt spells how much i've eaten in just one meal..
we went to some expo thingy which exhibited things like food in hongkong, n other interesting stuff. we bought 2piggy carpets! haha.. veh kewt. :) ooh i cant wait to go back home! e new sofas coming, plus e new rug moses got for my parents for christmas, plus e new carpets for my room! haha how exciting.. :)
btw i've been reading e book "forging a real world faith" n im currently on e part abt e different languages of faith. its really veh interesting.. it talks abt e different ways tt people worship/communicate w God. will blog abt it once i finish e chapter.. i could even identify at least one person/organization for each type of 'language'! n i have this habit of reading my devotional material, Bible, praying out loud, n now i hafta do it softly cos i dun want my mum n relatives to hear. haha..
