it was good catching up with the ipho people :) and the place was kwite nice too, just alittle too crowded so i much preferred staying out in the balcony spending romantic time with my darling pohgek hahaha. took the train back with fahmy and i spent like half the time teasing him haha.
so anyway back to asoc camp, no pictures! oops cos my camera was with ethel and i don't think i would've brought it anyway.
i'm super sleep-deprived. KO.

had a pre-camp dinner with my og people last night. then hung out in the smu concourse for awhile. i still don't really see myself actually attending seminars and tutorials in the office-like building! hahaha oh dear.
and my entire toilet's gone :( they wrecked it down and poof. there's dust everywhere! i'm gonna zzz in the guest room tonight :( i'm actually typing in layers and layers of dust hahaha.
had a nice starbucks breakfast with shangjun this morning. it was nice :) haha another part of my taitai lifestyle. then we WALKED to simlim from city hall! haha the taitai life ended there. and shangjun is such a guniang! omg. he's the only other person, besides my mum, who would stand like a metre behind the traffic light junction just so he can hide in the shade. yep checked out the notebooks and i've more or less made up my mind. had lunch after that at the simlim foodcourt. which made me feel kwite queasy after that.
went for a run in the evening. a very very very short run hahaha. nvm better than nothing. and i really need to stay up and pack for camp! urghh my room's in a total mess and i can't imagine, come tomorrow it'll be worse!
oh and one of my og people said i looked malay! :(

three weeks ago, i was doing my last-minute packing before moving into ulu ntu. two weeks ago, it was the opening ceremony! one week ago was the closing ceremony followed by the farewell banquet at neptune :( sigh time flies.

and it's funny how i'm seriously getting an overload of ipho emails in my gmail inbox! hahaha and everyday i just get very excited about checking my gmail inbox cos of all these emails! thankew slos :)
sigh there's accountancy camp this coming week and i'm not exactly looking forward to that. was supposed to start some packing tonight and i'm just totally un-excited about the camp. actually it sort of reminds me of how much i was dreading parting with my bed for two weeks and setting off for ntu during the training days. and now it's funny how i wish everything never had to come to an end haha.
i've sort of decided that i'm gonna quit teaching piano but i'm still contemplating how exactly i should break this news to my manager.
so anyway i finally caught pirates with weiren last night! it was good, a bit draggy and pointless at some parts, but johnny depp's still good nonetheless and keira knightley's still hot hahaha. and the snippet after the credits was unbeatable la hahaha. and you should've seen the way weiren and i were looking for his car, going to every storey, running out and pressing the remote control hahaha.
off to timbre after that to meet the sd pals after but the music sucked so bad!! wallace was laughing cos i was making uncontrollable funny faces. urgh they really should do something about their saturday band. whoever said the saturday band was comparable to timmy?! he / she must be a cock-eared fool haha.
so we really had to leave after finishing our pizza [thankfully that was good!] for .. al-ameen's! hahaha we are seriously such pigs it's disgusting. had a milo dinosaur and the mint chicken kebabs thing [yummy!] :) there were so many ac peeps there last night, i think al-ameen should hang an ac flag in their shop soon. all the loyal acsian patronizers.
had bible study in church today, and it was funny cos we were trying to teach christine how to write simple chinese words like 'chi' as in eat. haha.
lunch after that with moses at sakae, we seriously pigged out again! forty bucks worth of sushi shared amongst the two of us cos he always takes all the premium plates! and swensen's after that [OMG!]. came home for a nap, regardless of the sins i'd committed, and woke up feeling incredibly guilty so i went for a light run. which din really help much, but it's better than nothing.
i shall be a nice daughter and go watch tv with my parents now haha. the renovators are coming tomorrow! urgh. it's gonna be such a mess cos they're starting with my room. my tv's already shifted to the guest room, and soon my comp's gonna be shifted to the living room and then my wardrobe's gonna be shifted too and soon i'll be sleeping in the guest room! :( nvm tolerance.

haha clever me just fell smack on my bum / tail bone. it's so PAINFULLL!! :(
so the story began when i found a very dry / scaly looking lizard in my bathroom, so i used the shower hose to spray it and it almost jumped onto me! so i backed off and it went hiding behind my toilet bowl. then i continued with my shower and was wrapping the towel around myself when i saw the lizard jump out of nowhere again! so i quickly opened the door and tried to hop back into my room. and i stepped on the stupid floormat in my room and FELL SMACK!! i was wailing for help i tell you, all cos of the stupid lizard! urgh i swear i'd kill it if i ever see it again.
so anyway i caught nacho libre with sara yesterday! and it SUCKS. wth please don't watch it. had dinner at moses' place, then the very kind us brought sara out for supper at al-azhar's after singapore idol! haha. :) and guess what. COINCIDENCES DO HAPPEN. haha doreen and james were at al-ameen's at the exact same time! haha then over to sara's place after that for some chit-chatting, and i challenged james at a game of CHESS but lost miserably hahaha
a very complicated process, before we finally got back to my house! just doreen, jas and i again :) hee and kevin came over for a game of mahjong! and i lost miserably again. grr.
ZZZ .. finally .. at five am! trotted down to town in the afternoon for some shopping and i bought new nail polish :) the cheapo one from the face shop hahaha. met up with my ipho bus five peeps for dinner :) haha kwite funny cos they all took turns to call up the ipho coordinators complaining about missing delegates, muslim delegates who needed to find places to pray, blah blah haha. talk about NOSTALGIA! :( we couldn't stop ranting.
church at night for a time of prayer and thanksgiving for alpha youth. tomorrow's my very first session, whilst still in a very lost state. hope everything goes fine!
CRAP but my butt really hurts.
omg i spent the past few days checking out the official ipho website, glimpsing thru photos from arrivals to neptune court banquet :( and also reading random blogs by typing in 'ipho' in the blogger search engine [YES I KNOW I'M VERY CUNNING!] hahaha. it was so nice just receiving emails from ipho people all over again [i used to get very stressed seeing ipho emails in my gmail inbox] but now i wish inez, jac and ruimin could flood my inbox once again :( omg i sound so emo and that's so not me! hahaha oh well, i guess it's always hard to leave another part of your life behind and having to start all over again as you move into another phase. come tomorrow, and i promise i'll be forward-looking! next event up would be the accountancy camp 26-28jul, and ipho reunion on 29th! :) i'm so very looking forward to that.
and i really can't wait to get my driving licence! URGH

yayy i'm back!!
ipho experience was truly amazing. oh well, i'm stuck here in an overwhelmed feeling of nostalgia, trying hard to get out of it and face reality again.. no more play bel, what i need to face: driving test! URGH. uni preparations. back to piano teaching. going to church.

my team hasn't gone back to kuwait yet btw, so i'm gonna be crawling up in the wee hours of the morning to send them off later. hopefully moses can fetch me hahaha
i've made so many new friends in ipho, so many friendships forged that will never be forgotten :) i love the fellow slos to bits and we are so so united :) the delegates have been a really fun bunch too, though they do get on our nerves at times. but oh well, all our experiences would never have come true if not for them :)
i think everyone's had way too much fun during ipho even though it was supposed to be a physics olympiad which sounds so nerdy hahaha. last night saw all the crazy bulgarians and greeks in the lounge drinking, smoking and partying away, while us, slos tried to stay far far away from all that chaos. with much effort, cos everytime one of us walked past the lounge the whole group of crazy drunkards would be chanting 'slo slo slo slo!' it was kwite scary actually, but we din really bother with them since it was gonna be their last night here anyway. sigh :(
i came home and slept for six hours straight, omg talking about being exhausted.
